Welcome to the AIML-CEB 2025
The AIML in Computational and Experimental Biology (AIML-CEB) Workshop will be held at AJCAI 2025, hosted at the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra, on December 2nd, 2025.
AIML-CEB workshop aims to foster meaningful collaboration between the AI, computational biology, and experimental biology communities by bringing together leading Australasian researchers from academia, industry, and applied research. Through interdisciplinary dialogue, we will explore pressing challenges, limitations and emerging opportunities at the intersection of AI, data-driven modelling, simulation, and laboratory experimentation. By integrating advances in generative modelling, predictive inference, high-fidelity simulators, and adaptive experimental design, we aim to accelerate and shape the future of intelligent, reproducible, and impactful biological research.
This workshop seeks to:
- Bridge the gap between AI researchers and biological scientists
- Foster dialogue across academia, industry, and applied research
- Identify foundational challenges and future directions in AI-driven biological design
